Zayed Higher Organization is committed to providing a continuum of specialized services for individuals with special needs from birth through adulthood. Vocational Training Services at Abu Dhabi and Al Ain are well established and include training for males and females in selected vocational areas which will prepare them for employment in community businesses. Programs include areas such as; jewelry and candle making, wood working, electronics, weaving, and printing.   The Vocational Rehabilitation Service is currently expanding in the Western Region through 12 different workshops. The Service is provided in Abu Dhabi Center for Care and Rehabilitation and Al Ain Center for Care and  Rehabilitation.

Steps to complete the service:

​ • Students may be transitioned from the educational programs to the vocational rehabilitation department at the age of 15
•  The Department welcomes UAE boys and girls with special needs who will have the opportunity to enroll in Care and Rehabilitation  Centers or in public schools.
• A specialized assessment will be carried out to evaluate the each student’s capabilities.  
• The student will be enrolled in the workshop which is appropriate for his/her abilities and his interest.

Fees:
Vocational Rehabilitation Service is provided, free of charge, to  local males and females only.
